Hand colored limited edition Artist Proof etching by Charles Leonard. This etching is from an edition size of 250 of which this Artist Proof was actually done by the artist as a guide for the hand colorist. This edition has long been sold out. This hand colored etching is done on a cream colored, heavy rag paper. I purchased many of these directly from the artist in the mid 1990s and have had them laying flat in an art cabinet out of the sunlight.

Charles Leonard has created hand colored etchings and watercolors for over thirty years and, more recently, has begun to create hand colored giclees. His work spans several themes such as fish, golf, cigars and animals. His studio is based in Springfield, GA and his art has been distributed around the world, with reproduction posters of his golf clubs having been sold at Dillards Department Stores.
