If you need a fully outside mount and want returns to cover the complete bracket, you need the 2 1/2" return set. If you want to use mitered valance and returns, this is the part for you. The blind ships with a straight cut valance and corner connectors. Item 745904 is the 2 1/2" set to use with the corner connector. If you want the mitered look, you will also have to order a new mitered crown valance. This part will not work with the corner connectors
