Georgian
The Georgian is a traditional treatment that can be sewn with pleated or shirred swags and cascades. The design of the Georgian always uses a single swag
There are many variations for the vertical design of the Georgian. Some of those are:
• A stationary side panel and one short cascade
• A wrapped return on the swag with a single cascade or side panel

The cascades should always be self-lined or contrast-lined. Double the required face fabric or order the same amount of contrast lining as face fabric. The swoop should be lined with regular lining.

Measurement Tips
• Face Width – Measured from end of board to end of board. Does not include returns.
• Finished Length –
1. Swag - Measured from the top of board to long point of swag.
2. Cascades – Measured from top of board to tip of each size cascade. Always specify short point of each cascade.
3. Short Point – When specifying swag and cascade treatments, always consider the short point where the swag and lead edge of the cascade cross. This point should cover the molding details of the window.
