Multiple Point Valance

A popular style valance, which can be used in a casual area of the house, is a triangle valance. These valances are constructed with a series of triangles mounted on a board. Variations of the Triangle valance include multiple stacked triangles, wide triangles, or a single triangle. Trim such as cord, prefabricated trim, and banding add interest to this style valance. Short points are determined by the width and length of the valance and are often limited due to size. The wider the valance and the fewer triangles the shorter the short points become. Always consult your workroom if short point is critical. Measurement Tips • Face Width – Measured from end of board to end of board. • Finished Length – Measured from the top of the board to the long point of the triangle. Always check the short point if this is critical for stacking blinds under the valance.
