The Hourglass and Diamond Stretch curtain styles are recommended for small windows or for windows on doors that receive a lot of movement. Lightweight fabrics are the best for this style of curtain. However, if using a heavier fabric the treatment should be specified with 2 to 2 1/2 times fullness.
The Hourglass style curtains are tapered when they are cut so that they remain tied and gathered. Tiebacks are each 1" to 3" wide with Velcro in the back to hold them securely. Always calculate the ties separately from the curtain.
When specifying a double stretch drapery, follow these guidelines:
1. To write the order, be sure to include header and rod pocket specifications. Specify the rod you intend to use.
2. When measuring for a stretch, be sure to take into consideration the placement of the rod as well as the area to be covered. Always clear the glass by at least 1". It is best to use a stretch on an outside installation where measurements are not as critical. Be certain that you include in your calculations rod take-up allowance for both rods.

Measurement Tips
• Face Width – Measured from bracket to bracket.
• Finished Length – Measured from the top of the top ruffle to the bottom of the bottom ruffle. The finished length includes the ruffle above and below the rods.
