| Frank Lloyd Wright is widely considered to be America's greatest architect. The base for the Usonian Desk Globe as adapted from one of several furniture designs done in the 1940s by Mr. Wright. It is believed that he was working on designs for either the Usonian home designed about that time or for his own homes, Taliesin and Taliesin West. As there are no specific notations on the drawings, they have not been assigned to any particular project. Usonian globe features solid hardwood base and copper semi-meridian. |
