Sandberg Le Village

Sandberg Le Village is a designer wallpaper collection that pays homage to the charming Béarn village of Montfort and its petit stone château, home to interior designer, writer, and photographer Sara Silm. Rooted in French heritage and enriched by personal storytelling, Sandberg Le Village reflects the beauty, culture, and quiet romance of the region. The collection also honors the historic connection between Béarn, the Swedish royal family, and Sandberg’s role as a purveyor to the royal court. It is in this very region that the lineage of today’s King Carl XVI Gustaf traces back to Jean Bernadotte, born in the nearby capital city of Pau. Together, the patterns in Sandberg Le Village blend European history with Scandinavian artistry, offering wallpapers that feel both timeless and deeply evocative.
