How To Measure and Create a Template for Arched Window Curtain Rods

Standard Arch

Arch height is equal or greater than half the arch width

Eyebrow Arch

Arch height is less than half the arch width

Required Measurements

Paper template must be provided with arched window curtain rod order. (Butcher paper, heavy tablecloth paper, heavy wrapping paper - can be taped together) Please mark the following measurements on the template:

1. Pole size and profile/diameter
2. Height of arch: please specify which height measurement you are using.
   • measurement from bottom center of pole to bottom of arch
   • measurement from top center of pole to bottom of arch
3. Width of arch from outside edge to outside edge
4. Return: distance from wall to center of bracket cradle
5. Support bracket(s): please indicate position of each bracket
6. Selected rings, if any, must be welded to vertical arch: please indicate position of each ring. * note: Outermost rings must be a minimum of 11⁄2" from end of pole due to ARBE bracket cup. * note: ARBC, custom center bracket, can not be used with welded rings; select a standard or custom cradle bracket for center support unless pole is spliced in center.
